41. [Gallium Nine] support thread - in Linux [original thread]
Looks like you may just set use_pflipirq to non-default to mitigate the behaviour instead of nuking the whole commit. In my case 4.7-rc1 is good and well, but breaks asus_wmi. Oh, and does not fix the thread_submit lockups.

45. Paper dps v. real dps...can you explain some of this to me? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Nah, it goes slightly deeper than that. Well, it's like that(-ish) with missiles, and not like that with turrets. Say, hype can get about 1200-1300ish paper DPS with blasters. Or astarte can get about 1100ish i think. But apart from purely mecha...

Okay, I've built the latest mesa (like 12.1 devel), and the behaviour is still different between thread_submit set or not. Mind @ Blown

Yup, I have an optimus laptop. I see they merged it, and the source in aur/mesa-git matches the commit. However I have a prebuilt mesa-git/mesa-git (not sure how exactly up to date it is), and behaviour with and without thread_submit is vastly di...

Could not find wine-staging-d3dadapter in AUR. The only nine-enabled wine version for arch I know is aur/wine-gaming-nine. That being said, without thread_submit=true you are very likely to get many artifacts under nine. And for me thread_subm...

51. Bumblebee won't start Client - in Linux [original thread]
TBH you don't really need to load nouveau/nvidia on boot. If you want to use nvidia, you just have to be sure that nouveau is not always loaded. Bumblebee loads and unloads driver modules dynamically, so you just want neither driver loaded (and yo...

Confirmed. Without libgnutls.so.26 it wasn't working for me. With a link to libgnutls.so.30.6.3 it works PS: 32bit libs in arch are under /usr/lib32, just in case.

It tries to load the wrong driver? Check if you have libstdc++.so.6 in the evelauncher directory (though that's unlikely, it would fail to load the inted dri module). Also check if you have lib32-nvidia-libgl installed. Glxgears is all good a...
